here's a few quick shots of my installation at GLAMFA. it would be awesome to see you all there, and hear your thoughts about this piece.... 09/06.
issue #4 of the zine is finally done! here's a quick pic of the cover- i won't have time to post proper images of the pages for a couple of weeks, partly due to half the pages being windows for the GLAMFA installation i've been busting my buns on... so- get YOUR buns to CSU Long Beach's Art Galleries on Sept 6, from 4-9pm, to see the installation. it's unquestionably my best work yet... (i'll post some pics of that later today or tomorrow..) i'll give you a zine if you come! if you can't make it, but still want one, be in touch and i'll send you one!!!

here's my crap face, showing signs of the late nights i've been putting in... and a window from the center building (one of 34 windows, in total)-- i'm also making the new issue (#4) of the zine using the windows as pages...
okay, this is about as close as it gets to done- all those windows and doors are being drawn, today, on arches 140lb bright white. i'm hoping it's going to look super sick. pretty jazzed on it all, as it is. i'd love to hear what you all think- and stay tuned for photos of the installation itself (and remember- these two big pieces are going into a VERY small room, to which they are EXACTLY fit- and there's other stuff, too...)
i'm still working on the new installation for GLAMFA... left side is rendered out... now i gotta do the center, the right side and finish the windows and doors! and then i have to draw the image for the opposing wall (a big-ass bridge), but after THAT, i'm home free! assuming i cut all the paper to the right dimension... (not jinxing myself).. anyways::: come see the finished piece on Sept 6 (4-9pm) (see www.greaterlamfa.com for details..)
bear in mind, it's a work in-progress:
here's a little overview of Rich and I's collaborative project thus far. the photos are terrible, i apologize.... some are so blurry. i'll have to re-post later this week, after i shoot some better images. literally just threw them all on the wall and snapped a bunch of quick pics. 60 pieces total. i'll post some detailed images later. enjoy! rich and i are really psyched on how these are turning out.
