hey! check out all this crap I'm up to:
1. I'm 96% done with a mural at The Periscope Project (downtown San Diego, on 15th between J and K)- I'm doing a show of my crowd drawings there next month. stay tuned for date and time. see install photos below!
2. all this week, I'll be installing an immersive drawing/mural at Agitprop (up in North Park, 2837 University, behind Glenn's Market, on Utah). the opening is August 7th, 7-10pm! come over!
3. Chris Kardambikis and myself are launching a new publishing project, called Gravity and Trajectory, in September, with Volume Zero releasing (we hope) at SF Zine Fest. Volumes 1-3 will follow later that month. each will feature the work of one artist. this artist will work within a set format and page count. Chris and I will print, collate and bind the books ourselves. stay tuned for the info!
4. so, in the fall, Chris and I are going to be at a bunch of book fairs/fests: the SF Zine Fest, A.P.E., and CanZine. maybe more. hawking our new project as well as our individual work.
5. I'm VERY excited to be at the NY Art Book Fair in November.

here are some in-progress pics of my mural for The Periscope Project... unquestionably the largest piece I've ever done- the long wall is 35', the short wall is 17'. it's 11' high. stay tuned for some nice pics of the finished deal, or come to the drawing show next month and check it out yourself!
